Taipei decided to press China next with the minimum outcome as the Redshirts decided to conserve energy rather than going for more in the first half. The picture remained the same after the restart with Shang laying the pass for Zhang to score and adding to her tally later.

Although, this can favor India considering they are good at counter-attacking with the ball rather than having it. That being said, the Blue Shirts have to win back the ball or duels on the flanks as well as in the mark to have a say in the game. The negative strategy used by Chinese Taipei in their first game said nothing about their progressive play so this is presumed to be a completely different ball game for India, a match they have to win.
