It has been a swift decline for the Nizams who won the ISL trophy in 2022 and finished as runners-up in the league phase last season. The club is also jostling with off-field issues with a second transfer ban imposed by FIFA in a year for unpaid wages to ex-player and former coach Manolo Marquez.
