The Premier League gameweek 32 starts tonight with the fixture between Newcastle and Wolves. With the deadline for FPL looming closer, FPL managers will be looking to set their team for the run-in to the end of the season.
Here are the players to watch out for in Gameweek 32:
1) Harry Kane (£12.5m) vs Aston Villa (A)
The English forward has been in great form having scored or assisted in 7 of his last 8 matches. The resurgence in Kane’s form has led to Spurs reaching the 4th position in the table.
This gameweek, Harry Kane and co. are up against a Villa side who are facing a slump of their own. Kane’s away stats are impressive and the form that he is in, he becomes one of the players to watch out for and a potential captaincy candidate.
2) Son Heung-Min (£11.0m) vs Aston Villa (A)
Another player from Spurs in the list and the reason is the brilliant form of Spurs right now. The midfielder has returned a haul of 27 points in his last 2 gameweeks and has become a transfer trend to bring in due to his performances.
Aston Villa, their opponent in Gameweek 32 have been inconsistent recently which makes the Spurs midfielder one to bring. Apart from this gameweek, Spurs have a very good fixture list which makes Son a very good option for long term as well.
3) Kai Havertz (£7.9m) vs Southampton (A)
The German has been in form of his own lately having scored 5 goals in his last 4 matches. Havertz has excelled playing in the False 9 position and as a result has returned 35 points in his last 4 games.
In gameweek 32, Chelsea will be up against Southampton which makes him a good prospect to have. Although there is rotation risk, considering the midweek fixture against Real Madrid, Chelsea will not be making too much changes taking in mind there last league defeat against Brentford.
4) Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m) vs Everton (A)
Manchester United assets have not been popular lately in FPL due to their form. However, a favourable fixture against Everton could be a chance to take a punt on Bruno Fernandes. Especially if you are chasing rank, moves like this will help you gain rank.
Everton are struggling to get a win and face the prospect of relegation while United on the other hand will be looking to hit back with a win after the draw last week against Leicester. Everton have been all over the place defensively, and Bruno could well be in place to take advantage of it.
5) Matt Doherty (£4.9m) vs Aston Villa (A)
Doherty has rejuvenated himself after the arrival of Conte and has become one of the first names on the team sheets lately. The attacking potential of Doherty makes him an interesting choice in FPL, especially considering the price he is available at (4.9m).
The wing-back has 2 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 game weeks and considering the fixtures that Spurs have going forward as well, he becomes the one to watch out for.
