FPL Gameweek 28 Players to watch out for

FPL Gameweek 28 again presents a chance for the FPL managers for a high-scoring gameweek due to a number of double gameweek. The likes of Aston Villa, Wolves and Southampton whose assets are highly owned in FPL are doubling this week which makes it interesting to bring them in.

Here are the players to watch out for who could be on your watchlist for Gameweek 28:

1) Che Adams (£7.0m) vs Aston Villa (A), Newcastle (H)

Southampton are on a great run of form right now with a run of 6 unbeaten games in all competitions. Che Adams has been playing a crucial role in that one having scored or assisted in his last 4 Premier League games. From an FPL perspective, Adams is a low owned player with only 7% ownership which could change quickly.

Southampton have a favorable run of fixtures in their next 4 games, including a double gameweek 28 against Villa and Newcastle. This makes Adams a forward to buy for FPL Gameweek 28.

2) Jose Sa (£5.3m) vs Crystal Palace (A), Watford (A)

Having a goalkeeper in the list is rare but when it is the goalkeeper of the side which has conceded the least goals this season, it is worth a shout. Although Wolves have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 3 games, there fixtures going ahead are decent.

Sa and co. will face Crystal Palace and Watford at home in gameweek 28 which makes Sa the goalkeeper to have in FPL. Sa is a great shout even till the end as the remaining fixtures of Wolves have an FDR of 3 or less barring only 3 out of the 12.

3) Philippe Coutinho (£7.4m) vs Southampton (H), Leeds (A)

The Brazilian has slowed down from his fiery start for Villa which saw him score against the likes of United and Leeds. However, he still remains a threat and considering a double gameweek for Villa, he looks the best Villa asset to own.

In a gameweek where captaincy will be divided, Coutinho could be an option to consider for the armband. Villa face the likes of Southampton and a Leeds side who are still settling under their new managerial appointment. It was against Leeds where Coutinho got a 16-point haul and that could be the case yet again this time.

4) Antonio Rudiger (£6.1m) vs Burnley (A), Norwich (A)

Once the double gameweek for Chelsea was confirmed, it was a no-brainer to bring in Chelsea assets. If you are on a wildcard this gameweek, getting more than 1 Chelsea player in FPL is not a bad choice. However, without a wildcard one must decide 1 and considering the rotations in attack and Chelsea’s nailed-on defence, Rudiger is the one to get.

Having started in all of Chelsea’s games this season barring one, Rudiger is sure to play 180 minutes in gameweek 28. He is one of the main targets in FPL, considering the double gameweek for Chelsea as well as Chelsea’s favorable fixture run-in till the end of the season.

5) Mohammed Salah (£13.2m) vs West Ham (H)

This pick doesn’t need any explanation because we are talking about a player who has averaged more than 8 FPL this season. Having showed his class against Leeds in the previous fixture, Mo Salah is not the one to be missed out on irrespective of him having a single gameweek and the fact that West Ham is not the easiest of sides.

The fact that the title race is back on confirms the fact Mo Salah will not be rested.
