Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19 Top 5 Picks | Sports Social Blog

Quite a few interesting developments in the Premier League so far. A wave of nostalgia certainly came across some fans as Manchester United proceeded to occupy the top spot on the PL table. Things are far from said and done given that we’re only at the halfway point but certainly, Manchester United fans are happy, while others will be looking to pounce at the team that disappointed heavily last season. We also had Manchester City moving back into the top 3 positions after falling below 10th at one point of the season.  Here are some picks for the best picks for the upcoming gameweek. Tensions will be high as players come off the midweek games.

#1. Kevin De Bruyne( Mid; Manchester City)

Kevin De Bruyne is expensive for a reason. He is arguably not only the best player in the Premier League but one of the best in the world. He has managed 22 points in the last 3 games. The Belgian has kept 8 clean sheets and 12 goal contributions. He is up against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa and while Saha and Co. are capable of an upset, it is more likely that De Bruyne will thrive on the pitch yet again.

#2. Son- Heung Min ( Mid; Tottenham Hotspur)

Son is the top scoring player in the entire Fantasy Premier League. He has had 17 goal contributions so far. His form has been outstanding with only 5 matches where he scored 2 or lower. He is up against Sheffield United who are simply performing at an abysmal rate. Son could easily nab a decent chunk of points this week.

#3. Harry Kane ( FWD; Tottenham Hotspur)

Naturally you cannot leave Harry Kane far behind when you talk about Son. The duo has been bountiful for FPL players. Kane himself is just 1 point behind Son with a jaw dropping 22 goal contributions. He goes for 11.1 but he earns every bit of that price tag. Kane is just as likely to nab points against Sheffield United.

#4. Callum Wilson ( FWD; Newcastle)

He has two games. Up against Arsenal and Aston Villa. He is reliable and is only going for 6.6. With 12 goal contributions of his own, he is one of the best value picks of the league. He could easily rack up more points this week.

#5. Patrick Bamford ( FWD; Leeds)

Bamford is arguably the value pick of the season. The Leeds striker is only valued in the 6- range despite his string of performances. He has 15 goal contributions to his name and is one of the leading point-getters. He is up against Brighton and will not lose any points due to conceding. A great pick to have for this week.
