Virat Kohli - India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2025

India thrashed the defending champions Pakistan in the Group A match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where former Indian captain Virat Kohli returned to form and scored a memorable century to guide the Men in Blue to a comfortable win.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Group A match India vs Pakistan was played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (23rd February). After Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan chose to bat first, Pakistan scored 241 all out in 49.4 overs.

In reply, India comfortably chased down the target in 42.3 overs after losing only four wickets. Kohli was the star of the match, who earlier grabbed two good catches, and scored 100 not out off 111 balls with seven fours. Without any doubt, Kohli won the Player of the Match award, and India are in a strong position to advance to the Semi-finals of the tournament. Meanwhile, Pakistan are now dependent on the other results of the group-stage matches to have some luck for their last four stage qualifications.
