2. Eden Gardens (Kolkata):
Before the Narendra Modi Stadium was built in Ahmedabad last year , for many decades the iconic Eden Gardens was the largest cricket stadium in India by a fair distance and all the players loved playing in it. Before the capacity of Eden Gardens was more than 1 lakh but once the chairs were put, the capacity reduced to 80,000 but it’s still the second largest in India and the 3rd largest in the world.

It is the third largest cricket stadium in India with a capacity of 65.400 and it is also a stadium which has come about in the last decade and the facilities in this Stadium are amazing. In 2013, this stadium hosted some IPL matches and then in 2015, it hosted IPL matches and there the stadium got some recognition but it was the Road safety series held between 2020-21 where this magnificent cricket stadium got its limelight.
4. Rajiv Gandhi international cricket stadium (Hyderabad):
It is one of the oldest cricket stadiums in the country and has seen a host of test matches and ODIs and many players have excelled here and got fane and recognition. The 55,000 seating stadium is a thing of beauty but it got all its funny when the Sunrisers Hyderabad was in the IPL and they played their Matches here.

This is one of the oldest active cricket stadiums in the country as it was established in 1958. This stadium can seat 45,000 passionate Orissa cricket supporters who do not often get to see team India but when they do they make sure that everyone remembers them.
