Talking points from the squad
1) Sri Lanka are missing some important players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Lahiru Kumara, Dushmantha Chameera and Dilshan Madhushanka.
2) These players were the premier fast bowlers and spinners for Sri Lanka and the team is weaker as a result.
3) The batting line-up is good as there is a mix of experience and youth like Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Dhananjaya De Silva etc.
4) The fast bowling is less experienced but it ya not bad with the likes of Matheesha Pathirana, Kasun Rajitha, Binura Fernando. There is variety in the fast bowling.
5) The spinners are decent as well led by Mahesh Theekshana with the support of Dunith Wellalage and Dushan Hemantha.
