We all know that Indian Team is preparing themselves for upcoming South Africa Tour. Not only preparing Indian players are trying to show their best of performances, so as to get selected in the Indian Team squad. But, now the time is up for the performances, as Indian Team squad of 17 members had been selected.
Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur is back in the ODI squad and the big man Virat Kohli will now again lead the Team. Virat Kohli was rested from Indian Team squad for the Sri Lanka series. During this break he get married to his love Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Now he is back with a break and he will blast a fresh start in the first match of this ODI series starting from 1st of February, but before that there is Test Matches too.

Preparations for the TOUR:
Indian Team is preparing themselves for South Africa Tour as mentioned above. Indian Team had asked for the pitch conditions as there in South Africa to make their team used to the conditions. Pitch condition in South Africa is very favorable to the Pacers and bit against the batsman there. So, Indian pacers are getting their shoes tight and practicing for the Series.

POINTS TO FOCUS:
Four pacers are selected in the Indian Team squad for the Tour
Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin not got place in the team
Strong Pace Attack:
I mentioned above that Indian team is focusing on the pace attack of their team, same is shown in the selection of Indian Team squad. M.S.K Prasad – Chairman of selecting committee told that, the selectors under his guidance focused on strengthening the Indian Pace attack for the Tour. India Team squad is constituted with four main pacers – Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami & Shardul Thakur. Hardik Pandya is the sixth or the Extra pacer in the Indian Team squad.
Faith in Young Spin Twins:
The selectors showed their faith in the young spin twins – Yuzvendra Chahal & Kuldeep Yadav while selecting the Indian Team squad. These both spinners have performed exceptionally well in the last two series against New Zealand and now Sri Lanka. Yuzvendra Chahal had bowled with an economy of 4.66 while Kuldeep with an economy of 4.88 in ODI. One more spinner has been selected in the team and he is Axar Patel. Axar Patel has been bowling with an average of 31.31 and with an economy of 4.43. Selectors didn’t showed any interest in Ashwin and Jadeja for the ODI’s.
Kedhar Jadhav is back in the Indian Team squad. He was left out in the series against Sri Lanka because of some back issues. Kl Rahul who scored two consecutive fifties in the T20 series against Sri Lanka, not got place in the Team instead Ajinkya Rahane got place in the Indian Team squad after a long time break.
