The New York Knicks are back in the Playoffs. It has been a very long journey, a painful one for the Knicks fans. One of the most decorated franchises in the History of the Game has suffered a lot and the entry in the Playoffs has been a fresh start to the Franchise. The last time they qualified for the playoffs was back in the 2012-2013 season.

1. Carmelo Anthony
One of the most influential players in the Knicks Franchise history after Patrick Ewing. Put the whole Knicks Franchise on the map. After Leaving the Denver Nuggets in the 2010-11 season, he joined the Knicks and rocked with them for 7 years, and moved on to the OKC Thunder.

2. Raymond Felton
The 6ft 1 point guard was at his peak during his stint with the Knicks. Felton joined the Knicks in 2010 after getting traded from the Charlotte Bobcats (now Charlotte Hornets). He was the co-captain for the season. He just played 1 season with the Knicks in his 1st stint and then he made a return in 2012 and played 2 more seasons. He then moved to the Dallas Mavericks.

3. J.R Smith
3-Point specialist, the player who played the best games of his career was with the NY Knicks. During his stint, he also achieved the feat of back-to-back three 30-point games off the bench which was achieved 1st time in the history of the game. He played 80 games that season which was 2nd highest for the team. He then moved to Cleveland Cavaliers post this season

4. Tyson Chandler
The current NBA vet, Tyson Chandler had joined the Knicks in 2011 and played 3 seasons with the Knicks. He was the anchor of the defense where his presence made the Knicks improve the defensive efficiency from 22nd to 5th overall. He was also named an All-Star for the 1st time in his career during his tenure with the Knicks. He left Knicks in 2014 and rejoined Dallas Mavericks

5. Jason Kidd
NBA legend, Jason Kidd joined the Knicks in the 2012 season which turned out to be the only season he played for the Knicks. After a disappointing performance in the Playoffs, Kidd decided to call it quits and retired from the NBA.

6. Amar'e Stoudemire
6ft 10 Power forward, Stoudemire deserved an NBA ring, but he retired without one. He signed with the Knicks in 2011 and played 5 strong seasons with the Knicks. 7. Iman Shrumpet

11. Chris Copeland
The 6ft 8 Small Forward who went undrafted in the 2006 NBA Draft, had a long journey to make it into the NBA. He moved to the Indiana Pacers post this season.

12. Kurt Thomas
