Premier Badminton League December 22
The Premier badminton league is a franchise league, founded in 2013 as Indian Badminton league has the rights to operate and execute the premier badminton league. The fifth edition of (PBL) Premier badminton League was played on 22 December 2018 to January 2019 initiated with PV Sindhu, who recently won the gold in BWF rankings. The season featured a new team-Pune 7 Aces- bringing the total to nine competing teams. The nine teams were Delhi Dashers, Ahmedabad Smash Masters, Awadhe Warriors, Bengaluru Raptors, Mumbai Rockets, Hyderabad Hunters, Chennai smashes, North Eastern Warriors and Pune 7 Aces. Being the top badminton leagues in the world its playing court features the top Indan and international badminton stars in the world. The tournament has also flourished and widened the base of the game.
The scenario of the Indian Badminton legacy has a strong picture from the past players like Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand who have with their talent and sportsmanship have put India on the global badminton map to the recent generation of badminton warriors like Saina Nehwal, P.V Sindhu, and Kidambi Srikanth.
The Premier Badminton League Season 4 has become a big debut with a golden opportunity to showcase the youngster's talent on the field. The Five prominent youngsters who has debuted and starred the show and made it much interesting with their skills and stamina were:
Prajakta Sawant
She is a right-handed badminton player from India and has won the mixed doubles title in 2010 and has debuted with Pune 7 Aces in PBL was earlier a part of North Eastern Warriors as well. The mindful player and energy with the swift foot is a versatile youngest player to assess the court and hit the nail on the edge.
M.R. Arjun (Men’s Doubles)
Arjun Madathil Ramachandran is an India badminton player. He has played For Awadhe Warriors, ranks 32th in the world. This more youngest has shown voluminous work on his part and tremendous zeal for the work. It's remarkable here to call him a badminton ninja.
Lakshaya Sen (Men’s Doubles)
The fourth youngest shuttler in the PBL hit the ground in the PBL Season 4 has played alongside Carolina Marin, Vladimir Ivanov, and other great players. Being a former junior world no. 1, the youngster has broken records and has a worthwhile potential to boast of.
Kuhoo Garg
She has turned out small packet with a big band For Mumbai Rockets In PBL season 4. Auctioned at Rs. 2 lakh by the Mumbai Rockets has taken doubles to be her strength and has contested to be the best competitors of the league. Anura Prabhudesai
Last but not the least, being the first player from Goa to achieve NO. 1 ranking in Badminton Association of India (BAI) rankings. she has continued the legacy created by Saina Nehwal and PV Sindu.
