Top 5 NXT Superstars who could win the NXT Womens Championship

The NXT Women’s Championship has been recently vacated by the champion Indi Hartwell and she is going to Raw to showcase her skills to a larger audience and she more than deserves this opportunity because she has been working hard in NXT for the last 4 years and now she is ready to take the next step in her career.

As a result of Indi Hartwell vacating the NXT Women’s Championship, there has to be a new champion which has to be crowned and that new champion will be crowned at NXT Battleground which will take place on 28th May on Sunday. There are a lot of very talented women in NXT and so let’s look at the Top 5 NXT Superstars who could win the NXT Women’s Championship.

1) Tiffany Straton

The number 1 pick for the next NXT Women’s Champion has to be Tiffany Straton because she is the one who has been great on a consistent basis and she has gotten so much better in the ring and she has gotten better at her promo skills as well. Tiffany Straton is sort of one of the leaders of the NXT Women’s division and she has come up short on a few occasions but this time it could finally be her time to be the champion.

2) Cora Jade

Cora Jade is also one of those superstars in NXT who is very young but has more experience than a lot of the other women in NXT. Cora Jade has also been very good on a regular basis and her promo work is one of the best in NXT so that is a big plus for her. She has been a tag team champion in NXT and maybe it is time for her to take that next step and become the NXT Women’s Champion.

3) Jacy Jayne

Jacy Jayne had a brutal match against Gigi Dolin last week on NXT and she won that match and she was all bloodied because of that match. Jacy Jayne has been in NXT for years and it is time that she is rewarded for all her efforts. Jacy Jayne has been a tag team champion for months and she is ready to lead the NXT Women’s division.

4) Lyra Valkyria

The fourth pick is a wild card as it has been a few months that Lyra Valkyria has been in NXT but she has impressed everyone in such a short period of time and she has been having great matches against everyone in the roster. Lyra Valkyria is also one of the most athletic wrestlers in NXT and it might be too soon but one will not know that whether she is ready to lead the brand to the next level.

5) Meiko Satomura

The 5th name in this list may Surprise a lot of NXT fans but this is a name that cannot be left out of the Title picture simply based on how legendary and iconic she has been for women’s wrestling for decades. Meiko Satomura is an icon and a role model for all the women in NXT and she deserves to be NXT Women’s Champion one time before she calls time on her in-ring career and the brand will be respected more with her as the NXT Women’s Champion.
