In the list of superstars with the best matches at SummerSlam it’s time to talk about the winningest Superstar in the history of this event Edge who has competed in 14 SummerSlam events and has an incredible 12 runs and only 2 losses and he always brings his A game at this show so it’s natural we do a list honoring him. There are some great Matches that I will have to leave out of this list but hopefully the readers will like my list.

Triple Threat Tag team TLC Match- SummerSlam 2000
This is without a doubt the best match that Edge has been a part of at this show and this was also the first match that these legendary tag teams had together and it was a banger as always. This was the first TLC match and it was so good that there was a separate PPV named after it and Edge was the star of this match and these 6 men gave it their all for 25 minutes and the crowd were entertained from start to finish. A truly memorable match.

Edge vs Undertaker- SummerSlam 2008
We talked about this match in the Best Matches of Undertaker’s SummerSlam career so it had to be here for Edge as well because he was also equally responsible for this match being as good as it was. Edge was the perfect heel to The Undertaker and they told such a great story over 25 minutes that the fans were hooked from the start and they worked the crowd expertly. It was also one of the best Hell in a cell Matches of all time.
Edge vs Seth Rollins – SummerSlam 2021
The next match happened last year at this event against what I consider to be the best wrestler in the world in Seth Rollins because Seth Rollins cannot have a bad match and Edge was the perfect dance partner for Seth. Edge was a face and the crowd was behind him from the start and they had such a banger that I and everyone else was hooked for 23 minutes and Edge won the match and it was a classic.

Edge vs John Cena – SummerSlam 2006
In what could be the greatest feud in the career of Edge he had a match against John Cena at SummerSlam 2006 where they were a great heel and face and the crowd was invested throughout. Edge showed why he is among the best as he used every trick in the book to win this match as well as having an incredible wrestling match at the same time. This was WWE at its very best and everyone had a blast. Edge won this match as well as he usually does at this event. It was a 22 minutes Banger.

Edge vs Eddie Guerrero – SummerSlam 2002
This match was a chance for young Edge to show the world and Vince McMahon that je had the it factor to become a huge star in WWE and he did not disappoint and he had Eddie in the ring with him who guided him every step of the way and they had a killer 20 minutes match where the build was little but the Wrestling was so good that nothing else mattered. Edge had proved himself and the only way forward for him was Up. Edge had a win record at this show like The Undertaker had at WrestleMania.
