We are talking about none other than Johnny Gargano who is the 5 star machine and all the matches in this list will be 5 star matches or more. Johnny Gargano is such an extraordinary professional wrestler that he cannot have a bad match at all and he only has classics against every opponent he is in the ring with.
Before I write this list I have to say how fortunate I have been to watch all these Johnny Gargano Matches live and feel the excitement in me and waiting for what was going to happen in the next 30-40 minutes and then feeling a sense of satisfaction that he made our days. Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole – NXT Takeover New York
This is not just the best match in the NXT career of Johnny Gargano but also one of the greatest WWE Matches of all time. This was a match that ran for more than 40 minutes and it was a freaking masterpiece of professional wrestling and the fans in New York got a treat of a lifetime. It was originally supposed to be Johnny Gargano vs Tomssso Ciampa. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands and Johnny Gargano made the crowd cheer for him and by the end of the match Adam Cole tried everything to win but it was Johnny who won the NXT title and even now everyone remembers this epic.

Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole – NXT Takeover 25
This was the rematch that happened between them at Takeover 25 and this time these 2 greats had a 32 minute match that matched the previous one bell to bell. These 2 had such unbelievable in ring chemistry that it would take the breath of the fans away and that is what happened this time as well. This time though Adam Cole was better prepared and with the help of the Undisputed Era he won the NXT title and thus a string of epic matches came to an end.

Johnny Gargano vs Andrade Cien Almas- NXT Takeover Philadelphia
This match that we will talking about now was the standard bearer of all the matches in NXT Before those 2 all time classics with Adam Cole happened. This was also a 32 minutes instant classic and the fans at Philly were loud for this and both wrestlers were at the top of their game and Johnny Gargano looked set to win the big one but unfortunately he could not but that does not devalue the match one bit and it is easily a 5 star classic. I watched this match and was in awe.

Johnny Gargano vs Tomssso Ciampa – NXT Takeover New Orleans
This was the best match that Johnny Gargano had against Tomssso Ciampa and the story leading into it was so good that the fans were immediately into it from the beginning and this match was an Unsanctioned match and Ciampa was the heel who got booed out of the building and Johnny Gargano had to win to stay in NXT. Both these all time greats made the stipulation work so well and the match was so brutal that for more than 34 minutes the crowd was changing it’s emotions and I saw this live and was cheering loudly for Johnny Gargano. Johnny won this match and thus a trilogy was born.

Johnny Gargano vs Ricochet – NXT Takeover Phoenix
The last match on this list is 5 stars from my side as well as it was Johnny Gargano vs Ricochet for the North American Championship and it was just 2 incredible wrestlers going at it for 30 minutes and the crowd ate it up and Johnny Gargano was the heel in this match but he is so good that the crowd hated him in this match and Ricochet tried everything but in the end it was Johnny Gargano who won the match and the title.
