SummerSlam 2022 Results Part-1

SummerSlam 2022 is in the books and I have to say that was one of the most enjoyable and best shows I have seen in a while and it was also the first big PPV for Triple H as Head of Creative in WWE and he did a great job at staging this event in front of over 48,000 fans in Nashville Tennessee. All the matches were good to great and there were surprises that none of us saw coming. Now we are here to talk about the results and I will do it in 2 parts.

Before we talk about the detailed Results I have to say as well that the match card was very well structured so that each match could get its time to breathe and there were a couple of important segments in the show which we will talk about later in the articles. So, let’s talk about Part 1 of SummerSlam 2022 results.

Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch – Raw Women’s Championship

This was the match that started the show and this was the second best match of the night and as usual these 2 incredible wrestlers had a 15 minute wrestling clinic even though the ring ropes were tough to balance in this show due to humidity. These 2 women cannot have a bad match together and this was the last match in their stories Rivalry and in the end Bianca Belair won the match with the KOD and retained her title.

Bayley, Dakota Kai and Io Shirai return

After the first match Bianca was standing in the ring and then the music of Bayley played and there she was after a full year out of injury and she was not alone because Dakota Kai returned to WWE and it was amazing but it was not finished there as well as Io Shirai also returned and was called up to the main roster. They went to the ring as 3 on 1 vs Bianca but Becky Lynch stood by Bianca’s side and it was an awesome visual. Becky finally turned face again.

Logan Paul vs The Miz

This was the second match on the show and the first singles match for Logan Paul in WWE and I must say he absolutely smashed it as he had the third best match of the night and he proved that WWE is his to conquer and he is so good now then how great he will be in years and they both had an incredible 15 minutes match where Logan Paul gave a frog splash through the announce table and in the end he won the match.

Bobby Lashley vs Theory-United States Championship

This was a short 5 minutes match where Bobby Lashley dominated Theory from start to finish and he showed why he is the Champion and will be for months to come and he applied the Hurt Lock and Theory tapped out quickly. Bobby Lashley was very over with the crowd as always.

The Mysterious vs The Judgement Day

This was the fourth match on the card and it was the No DQ tag team match and these 4 men did their best to get the crowd engaged but they were gasped and they were having a good match and in between we see the return of Edge and he had a fire entrance and he reminded a lot of Brood Edge and he helped The Mysterios get the win. His return was the highlight of the match.

Drew McIntyre came out

After this match Drew McIntyre came out to cut a promo and he was over with the crowd and he cut a great promo and even got a fan’s name a chant. He will be the number 1 contender for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at Clash of the Castle.
