This would not have even a question before the events of this past year unfolded because there is no one in the history of Wrestling who is more influential that Vince McMahon because since 1982 he was the one who was running WWE and in turn professional wrestling. Vince McMahon despite all his flaws has had a career unlike any other and he will always be remembered for good and bad.
So, why this question is being asked, is because of the Controversy that happened this year which forced Vince McMahon to retire and that was something that was wrong in every sense of the word. Vince McMahon had to step down because of that and since then he has not been seen and fans have been wondering whether he will ever be seen again. So, let’s talk about this question.
Yes, Vince McMahon should be in the WWE Hall of Fame
This is a no brainer and even with everything that has happened this past year nothing van change the fact that Vince McMahon is the single biggest figure in WWE history and even professional wrestling history. Vince McMahon is the reason why we are all here and he is the reason why WWE exists and professional wrestling is seen as something big. Vince McMahon created WrestleMania which is the equivalent of the Super Bowl in the NFL. He also created the Royal Rumble, SummerSlam etc.
Vince McMahon deserves his own Hall of Fame event where various people come on stage and talk about him. Mistakes happen by everyone and he is paying for the mistakes he made but I hat does not mean that he should be denied his place in the WWE Hall of Fame. Most WWE superstars, current or former , thank him for giving him a chance and allowing them to have a career and earn for their families. The amount of good that he has done for so many people cannot be ignored.
He deserves to have one night to himself and Triple H I am sure will ask him if he Wants to be inducted and if he says yes then he should have the full weekend celebrating him. Vince McMahon should never return to active WWE or be near the product but he absolutely deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
