The win loss record among these 20 matches is pretty one sided in favour of John Cena with him winning 12 out of 20 matches and Randy winning 7 and 1 ended in a no contest. 1. Bragging Rights(2009):
This match between John Cena and Randy Orton is considered the best one by many fans and experts as it was also a Sixty Minute Iron match between the Two for the WWE championship. They beat the living hell out of each other in the match and Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase didn’t help Randy either by interfering and Cena won by 6-5 by tapping out Randy Orton in the last minute of the iron man match.
2. SummerSlam (2009):
This was one of the most controversial matches they had during their storied rivalry. Randy Orton was a heel and he tried every trick to win the match. Firstly Randy disqualified himself to retain the title but the match was restarted then he tried to count himself out but this time Vince McMahon came out and didn’t let it happen but finally someone in the crowd interfered and that helped Randy win the match. In spite of all this they produced a great match.

3. Hell in a cell (2009):
2009 was a great year for both Cena and Orton as they kept having great match after great match. This match that we are talking about took place at the hell in a cell and it was the first hell in a cell match for both of them. It was a brutal match and Randy Orton was livid after he lost the title in an “I Quit” Match to Cena and he was determined to win it here and win he did.
4. Hell in a cell (2014):
Another hell in a cell match between Cena and Randy and another classic they gave us. At such a late stage in their careers to give us a match this good says a lot about now great they are. This was a match to win a chance to challenge for the WWE championship and this went on for 25 minutes with John Cena emerging out victorious.
5. Breaking Point (2009):
This was an “I Quit” match that took place at this event between the Two. After SummerSlam where Cena lost the title in controversial fashion he was given a rematch and Vince McMahon ever the genius made it an “I Quit” match. This match had everything needed for such a brutal match with Orton putting Cena in handcuffs and even then John showed resilience and in the end Randy could not stand the STF submission from Cena and Quit and John won the title.
