WWE has been a company that has been going around for the better part of 4 decades and there have been numerous Wrestlers who have wrestled for WWE and many of them were great promos and in current day WWE there are also some incredible promos in WWE. The range of WWE superstars who were great promos and the different styles of promos that they used to sell a match are truly astonishing.

1) Paul Heyman

In the last 20 years when the majority of WWE fans of today are from there has been no better promo then Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman is a genius and a master of his craft and he can sell any match to anyone and even those matches which the WWE fans are not that interested in seeing at first but he sells the match. His pairing with Brock Lesnar was the best thing for him as he was the mouthpiece for Brock and the WWE fans were sold on all his matches. Now with Roman Reigns since the last 3 years Paul Heyman has made the Bloodline Better.


2) John Cena

John Cena is up there as one of the Greatest Promos in WWE history and he is still better than half of the WWE roster. He can work a crowd lune nobody else as the crowd in the arena holds onto his every word and he can bury any opponent of his in the mic and they will become better as a result of being with him. He knows how to sell a match and his selling of his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker was one of his best work In the mic.


3) The Rock

The Rock has to be in the conversation of being the best promo of all time and he was someone who could cut an equally good promo as both a face and a heel. His words carried weight and he could become serious and he could also be funny when needed to be. He was the people’s champion and he had the crowd in the palm of his hands. The millions of fans who came to see him would be electrified. The Rock is one of the best ever.


4) Dusty Rhodes

Dusty Rhodes was so good that he ran a promo class for all the top WWE superstars today, the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, they all learnt the art of promos from him. Dusty Rhodes could sell a cardboard and the fans would sell out the arena. So many young WWE superstars look up to him as to how to cut a promo. His Hard Times promo was seriously one of the best of all time


5) Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin became the biggest star in professional wrestling mostly based on his promos and he still is one of the best Ever. It all started when he won King of The Ring in 1996 and the Austin 3:16 era begun. Austin then got even better as the years went by and his feud with The Rock showed how far he had come so much so that he became one of the best ever.


6) CM Punk

No matter what the fans might feel about CM Punk the person or the Wrestler but the one thing that cannot be doubted that he is one of the best promos of all time. He was believable and a man of the WWE universe. Everyone connected to him whether he was a face or a heel because his promos were connected to reality. The pipe bomb promo is still one of the best promos of all time and he has not lost his edge when he returned to AEW last year. CM Punk will always be in the discussion for the best of all time.


7) Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has been in the WWE since 9 years and he has been one of the best promos In the WWE ever since and the way in which he so easily could change from being a heel to a face with equal greatness was something that not a lot of WWE superstars have. Kevin Owens could be the biggest face or the most hated heel. At WrestleMania 38 Kevin Owens was a great heel to Stone Cold Steve Austin and at WrestleMania 3) he was the biggest face along with Sami Zayn. And both times he was brilliant.


8) Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is the best female promo of all time and it’s not even close. And she is also in the discussion for the greatest of all time as well. The way in which she has worked on her promo skills in the last 5-6 years has been Truly remarkable to see and ever since 2018 , Becky Lynch was on a different level and she was such a great face as The Man and then an equally great heel as Big Time Becks and now once again she has become the man. This is a quality that not all women in WWE have.


9) The Miz

Here is a WWE superstar that does not get the respect that he deserves for being one of the best in the mic for more than a decade. The Miz is someone that on his day can bury even the heat of the best. His promo on Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack will always be remembered and he had great promo segments with Enzo Amore, Roman Reigns, John Cena and so many others. The Miz is a hall of Famer and a first ballot one.


10) Ric Flair

At number 10 in this list is the legendary Ric Flair who was the best of his generation along with Dusty Rhodes. Ric Flair was a multi time world champion and he backed it up with his Promos and he was a bad heel who was hated by everyone because of how good he was at his job. Ric Flair’s promo after winning the 1992 Royal Rumble will always be one that will be played for years. Recently he has not been liked by the WWE universe but he was someone who could bury his opponents on the mic and especially his Woo.
