Brock Lesnar vs Triple H Rivalry History

Brock Lesnar vs Triple H was a shorter but a great Rivalry which saw two of the top stars collide and they had a great series of matches at the biggest shows of the year. They had a year-long feud that started in 2012 and went on till 2013 and during that time there was a lot of tension and the fans were invested in this story.

Brock Lesnar had just returned to the WWE in 2012 and he was in high profile feuds starting with John Cena that ran for a few months but the main Rivalry was about to start later in the year. They were the two alpha males and everyone wanted to see them fight.

So, let’s look at their Rivalry:

The Start

It all started in 2012 after the John Cena feud that Brock Lesnar wanted certain perks In his WWE contract and Triple H was a part of the authority and he was not giving Brock what he wanted and as a result he got pissed and broke the arm of Triple H one evening and from there the Rivalry started. Then he broke the arm of his best friend Shawn Michaels and that was the trigger point for Triple H and then they agreed for a match.

SummerSlam 2012

This was the first out of the 3 Matches that they had against each other and this was at SummerSlam 2012 and both beat each other a lot and neither was willing to give up and it was an incredible No Holds Barred Match and after 26 minutes of incredible wrestling and beating each other with everything it was Brock Lesnar who got the win and this was a big win for Brock Lesnar as he needed this win to emerge as a threat to Triple H.

WrestleMania 29 and Extreme Rules 2013

The time for WrestleMania 29 had come and Brock Lesnar was running wild in WWE and he even attacked Vince McMahon and he was going to break his leg one day then Triple H came back and then they brawled and Triple H demanded a match against Brock Lesnar but Paul Heyman said that the career of Triple H will be on the line and it will be a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 29. And this was the better match that they had and this was for another 25 minutes and it was brutal as both were dishing out punishment to the other and Triple H won the match thus setting the final of the trilogy at Extreme Rules.

Extreme Rules came and the match was a Steel Cage Match but that cage could not contain these Two Animals as they went to town on each other and had the best match of the 3 and this Is the sign of a great feud when the next match is better than the previous great match. And they had great chemistry with each other and here Brock Lesnar won the match and thus he won this Rivalry.
