Best Women Champions in WWE history

WWE has seen a lot of truly great Women’s Champions in its history and since the past 8 years WWE has seen a revolution as far as the women are concerned and they are at the forefront of the women’s evolution and some of the great Champions have come from these years. WWE has seen some great wrestlers work for them and making a Top 5 list of the best women’s champions in WWE is hard but it will be fun.

So, let’s have a look at the Top 5 Best Women’s Champions in WWE history:

1) Charlotte Flair

Even though Trish Stratus was the original greatest of all time, it is safe to say that Charlotte Flair had eclipsed her to get the Top spot in this list because there has not been a single WWE female Superstar who has dominated WWE like she has over these past 8 years and to stay at the top for 8 years in a row is something that no other woman has done and that is why she is a 14 time Women’s Champion in WWE which is double the next best in WWE history and she has had a lot of great title reigns like her first reign in 2015 and then her ones in 2016 against Sasha Banks. And Charlotte Flair is not done staying at the top as she has a decade left.

2) Trish Stratus

Number 2 has to be Trish Stratus who is the original greatest and she is the reason that so many of the young female WWE superstars were inspired from and she was the best wrestler during her time and her and Lita changed the game for women in WWE. Trish Stratus was a 7 time Women’s Champion and she had some of the best Matches against Lita, Victoria, Beth Phoenix etc. And even now Trish Stratus is a regular on Raw and she will be here for some time to come and she would want title number 8.

3) Becky Lynch

At number 3 is Becky Lynch and frankly this position can go to no one else because Top 2 , it has been Becky Lynch who has been at the top but her ride to the top was not easy as she had to face failures and then in 2018 once she rose to the top it was not looking back from There. An error from Nia Jax may have started her journey but it was her who has kept the momentum going for the next 5 years and she has main evented WrestleMania and she is a 6 time Women’s Champion with a reign of 400 days as Raw Women’s Champion and another as Big Time Becks.

4) Lita

This list would be incomplete without the mention of Lita because Trish Stratus could not do what she did for the women’s division on get own and she had Lita all the way through and both of them blazed the trail for all the women to follow. They would have the best Matches on the show and Lita became a fan favorite as she was always the underdog and she became a 4 time Women’s Champion and is a WWE Hall of Famer just like Trish Stratus. And even she has been with WWE over the past couple of years having top quality singles matches as well as rag team matches and she even won the WWE Women’s tag team titles for a little while.

5) Beth Phoenix

If Trish Stratus and Lita made young women get into professional wrestling then It was Beth Phoenix who was the inspiration for so many young women who had a strong build and who were not feminine like and they would feel ashamed in their own body but when the saw Beth Phoenix do what she did and became a 4 time champion then the likes of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair got the confidence that they could also do the same. Beth Phoenix had a dominant title reign in 2008 and she was also included in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 and she also wrestles s few matches and all the top women in WWE say that their dream match is against Beth Phoenix.
