We are back with yet another best SummerSlam Matches article and this time it is about one of the best of all time which is The Undertaker who has had 16 Matches on this event over the years and there have been some extremely great Matches out of all these 16. I will try to select a Best 5 and let’s have some fun with it.
Before we go into the Top 5 Best Undertaker SummerSlam Matches, seeing The Undertaker earn a well deserved retirement after 30 years in the ring is amazing to see. With all that being said let’s see which are the Top 5 Best Undertaker SummerSlam Matches.
Undertaker vs Edge- SummerSlam 2008
This match is without a doubt the best Undertaker match at this event as he and Edge went out there and had one of the best Hell In a Cell Matches and this was the culmination of their great Rivalry in 2008 and it had to be brutal and physical and both of them brought it in spades and the fans watching it live and around the world had a blast watching it. It also features the legendary moment where Undertaker burns Edge underground in the ring. It was Undertaker at his best.
Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar – SummerSlam 2015
This is my personal favorite Undertaker match at SummerSlam and it is a match that I remember every moment of because it was 2 once in a lifetime superstars going at it and there was such a great story told of The Undertaker coming for revenge from Brock Lesnar for costing him the streak At WrestleMania 30 and both of them had to personally redeem themselves and they did it in style as the crowd as electric for this whole match and there was one moment that took this match to another level and it was Brock Lesnar who was laughing at The Undertaker who was lying down and then he got up and they both started laughing at each other and everyone lost it.
Undertaker vs Bret Hart – SummerSlam 1997
This was the match where The Undertaker got to show his wrestling skills instead of being a gimmick because he was in the ring with one of the very best to ever do it in Bret Hart. Undertaker took full advantage of this opportunity and showed the world that he is a phenomenal wrestler himself and Bret Hart allowed him to have such a great match and the fans had a newfound respect for The Undertaker. From this match on there was no looking back for The Deadman.

Undertaker vs Mankind – SummerSlam 1996
This was the year before the last match and this was a boiler room brawl match and these 2 were the perfect for this type of match. The Undertaker showed his Brutality in this match and Mankind also showed that he is one of the best in the world and they had a great match which entertained the crowds as well and at the end Paul Bearer turned on The Undertaker and gave the urn to Mankind. This was an epic moment in WWE History.
Undertaker vs Randy Orton – SummerSlam 2005
The fifth and final match in this list is the 2005 match that The Undertaker had against a young Randy Orton and this was yet again a fantastic match between the 2 just like their WrestleMania match. Undertaker showed all his experience and also gave Randy Orton a lot of offence in this match and let the kid shine as well as show that he was in the prime of his career and his best was still yet to come. This was a great 20 minutes match which saw the fans invested and happy.
