The first three sets were closely contested as all sets went right down to the wire. However, Nadal did enough to claim his 6th French Open title.

3. Rafael Nadal vs Novak Djokovic (2014)
Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic clashed again in the finals of French Open 2014, where Nadal won in four sets. However, the Spaniard was pushed to the backfoot early on, as Djokovic managed to win the first set. Eventually, the King of Clay won by a score line of 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4.
4. Stan Wawrinka vs Novak Djokovic (2015)
Novak Djokovic had a golden chance to claim his maiden French Open title, as he came up against the Swiss, Stan Wawrinka in the finals. The Serbian had defeated Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals, and was the favorite to win the match. However, he fell short once again, losing in four sets. The final score line read 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 in Wawrinka’s favor.
5. Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray (2016)
Novak Djokovic finally claimed his maiden French Open title in 2016, when he defeated Andy Murray in the finals. He lost the first set, and was staring at his fourth defeat in the finals. However, he went on to win the next three sets and finally complete his Career Grand Slam. Djokovic won the match by a score line of 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
