The moment which we have all been waiting for is finally here as India have announced their 15 Members for the ICC T20I World Cup 2022 and we are here to analyze the team and tell about the SWOT analysis as well. The team was on expected lines which is a good thing as surprises are not good for the stability of the team so India have gone in with an experienced team which would be strong contenders for the title.
Before we get into the team and its analysis, I have to commend Rohit Sharma and the selectors that they did not pick anyone out of a whim or a good performance in 1 series and that they have picked 4 stand by players as well who could swap places if any of the players get injured. A few people are unhappy with the team as they wanted young players but the same people would have complained if the young players got preference over the experienced . Let’s look at the team and do the analysis.

Strengths
The biggest strength of the team is that it is full of experience and these players know the big match occasion and in a big tournament we need tried and tested players. The batting line-up is also a big strength as well as the fast bowlers. Hardik Pandya in full flow is a massive strength for India.
Weakness
The absence of Ravindra Jadeja is a massive weakness as he was the only 3 dimension player who was great at all 3 departments. Then the spin bowling is a little weak as Ravichandran Ashwin needs to get better and Rishabh Pant needs to find form or else he could also be a weakness.
Opportunities
This team has the opportunity to win the title and win the hearts of fans and silence all the critics. Virat Kohli will have the opportunity to score lots of runs leading into the World Cup and the fast bowlers have the opportunity to utilize the conditions in Australia and the 4 reserve players need to be ready as opportunity can come at any time.
Threats
Other teams can go after the spinners so that us a big Threat for India and the opening bowlers o lf other teams can look to get KL Rahul out early so India can lose 1 wicket early. The middle order needs to fire or else the other teams will exploit this area as well.
Overall this is pretty much the squad all rational people were hoping for barring 1 change which we can debate about and now it’s time to bac our team as they go in the World Cup.
