The IPL Final of 2023 will go down in history as the greatest IPL final of all time so far and it was a fitting tribute to the best fans in the world which is the Indian cricket fan. This IPL Final was like a 3 day test match and the reason for that is simple, there was so much rain. And the reward for all those 90,000+ fans and all the millions watching at home was this IPL Final.

This IPL final has taken the brand of the IPL and risen to new heights And it is always said that God always has a plan and the wait and wait for this Final will result in the good of everyone in the long term.

Washout on Sunday

The IPL Final was supposed to be played on 28th May which was supposed to be on a Sunday but at 6:30 PM the rain started pouring and as a result the match could not be started on time. The fans and the players were hoping that the rain would stop and then they would be able to watch the match but it just kept pelting down and the match was called off and pushed to the reserve day on Monday. The fans were upset as they had to stay one more day and there were thousands of traveling fans and they stayed in railway stations, metro stations and some roamed all night and they were rewarded the next day.


The Match starts on Monday

Monday came and yet again 90,000+ fans who had come the previous day yet again filled the stands and this time the rain gods were kind to them as the match started on time and Gujarat Titans batted first and they batted very well and they made 215 runs in 20 overs and Sai Sudarsan made a brilliant 96 and Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya had great innings are well and it looked like it was enough but yet again the rain gods were about to test the patience of the fans as yet again it rained and this time it was vicious as winds were blowing fast and the ground had to be covered. There was a delay of 2 and a half hours but no one left the stadium and finally it was decided that it will be a 15 over match with 17@ runs needed to win .


The Perfect Climax on Tuesday morning

This was the third day of the IPL final and it was like a test match and CSK needed 167 from 14.3 overs and the fans in the stadium and more than 2 crore devices were watching at home online and they were treated to something really special as Ruturaj Gaekwad and Devon Conway gave CSK the perfect start but then Noor Ahmed brought back GT to the match but then again Ajinkya Rahane stepped up as did Ambati Rayadu in his last IPL match and they both made sure that CSK had a chance she Dhoni got out of the first ball and it was 10 needed from the last 2 balls and Ravindra Jadeja was in strike and he hit a 6 and a 4 to win the match and the 5th title for CSK. And these days Deserved this final for being the best fans in the world and Dhoni said that he will try to come back next year.
