Rohit Sharma Becomes 4th To Complete 6000 IPL Runs

Rohit Sharma, the successful Mumbai Indians’ (MI) captain, became the fourth cricketer to reach the 6000 IPL runs milestone during their away victory against the hosts SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) last Tuesday (18 April) night.

After SRH sent the five-time IPL winners to bat first, MI skipper Rohit Sharma provided a good start with 28 runs off 18 balls (six fours). Before the left-arm pacer Thangarasu Natarajan dismissed him in the fifth over of the innings, Rohit had a 41-run opening partnership with Ishan Kishan.

During that little but impactful batting performance, Rohit completed 6000 runs in his IPL career. The right-handed batter has scored 6014 runs in 227 IPL innings (232 IPL matches).
