Biggest hitters in IPL history

12 seasons and one of the biggest T-20 leagues of the world that have ever could any imagine. The unique franchise-based format and team up with overseas players in an Indian league to let us witness some of the moments which even one-day format won’t give us which as a fan no one will forget.

As an africando, I’d say the main reason for the success of this league is the persistence of BCCI to keep their star players exclusive to this league. Despite the other nations, the Board of India doesn’t allow their contracted players to take part in other tournaments of the world.

As the format is T-20 it allows the batsman to play with an aggressive approach. Well, this move allows the batsman to go for the maximum as they have a special place in the fan's heart like me.

There are big hitters in the league no doubt in that keeping everything aside which I feel are top in my book of ranking are these:

1. Suresh Raina:

Mr. consistent Mr. dependable Words are less to describe this Genius. Maybe you have never seen him performing for India for long. But when you will look at his stats of IPL, you will be amazed to know how great this player is.

This batsman has scored around 5,368 runs in IPL history which is second highest by an Indian batsman in the league. While in 12 seasons he has hit 194 sixes with the strike rate of 150 plus.

This batsman is treated to the eyes when he is on the song who can forget his inning of 87 runs in just 25 balls, he always loves to take the aerial route and keep the scoreboard ticking.

One of the most consistent players for the CSK franchise to ever play for him as they have never released him in the auction, they know the value of this batsman which Indian team failed to recognize in two world cups 2015 and 2019.

2. MS Dhoni:

Mr. cool or Mr. finisher what we have to say about him. The skipper of CSK MS DHONI and one of the most successful franchises of the league. This man is known for hard-hitting around the park or even out of the park a few times.

Leading the team from the front is the best thing about this player. In a tough match he takes the match to the deep and then what he does is not less than a climax scene of any Hollywood movie.

The way this man finishes up the match gives goosebumps to many fans in the stand. This man has single-handedly changed the fortune of CSK’s matches with his big-hitting powers.

3. AB de Villiers:

ABD or Mr. 360 the man from another planet I’d say he’s not human to play like cricket the way he plays like among other cricketers.

Former South African batsman or the modern-day superman of cricket if we say will not be the wrong thing. The fastest half-century in just 16 balls, the fastest century in Just 31 balls and fastest 150 in just 66 balls.

Isn’t that the fastest to everything in cricket? The Superman has hit around 212 sixes in IPL which is the second-highest by any batsman in the world.

Here's a list of players with Most Sixes in IPL

4. Chris Gayle:

The king of the sixes in the IPL without a doubt is “Christopher Henry Gayle.” Combining the sixes of Virat Kohli and Brenden McCullum will be less than his sixes he has hit in this league.

Fans remember when he was unsold in 2011 everyone was thinking it was the end of his journey in the league. The season RCB has picked him as the replacement of “dirk nannes” that have changed the era of his man in IPL.

The left-handed batsman has registered 326 sixes in the IPL with so many thunderbolts out of the park which is still missing even the NASA team is researching up those thunderbolts in the outer pace. It will be interesting if he will breach the magic of 400 marks of sixes in this season.
