So, here we take a look at the top 10 youngest goal scorers in the history of the Premier League.

James Vaughan is the youngest goalscorer in Premier League’s history.  scored for Everton when he was 16 years and 270 days old. Vaughan scored with three minutes left against Crystal Palace in 2005 to displace Rooney as Everton's youngest scorer and Milner as the Premier League's youngest scorer. Next on the list is James Milner, who currently plies his trade with Liverpool. With his goal IN Leeds vs Sunderland on Boxing Day in 2002, Milner became the Premier League's youngest scorer. For a few years, the record stood before being broken by James Vaughan. James Milner scored for Leeds when he was 16 years and 356 days old.

Third, on the list, Wayne Rooney scored his first Premier League goal for Everton in the Premier League against Arsenal in 2002. Wayne Rooney scored his first goal for Everton when he was 16 years and 360 days old. In 2002, right before his 17th birthday, Rooney scored a great goal against Arsenal. He also put a stop to Arsenal's 30-game unbeaten streak. Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is the next player on the list. Cesc Fabregas scored for Arsenal when he was 17 years and 114 days old.  "He's only 17 and he's better than Roy Keane," Arsenal fans sang when Fabregas scored against Blackburn in 2004.

Former English striker Michael Owen is fifth on the list. He managed to score in his debut game itself. Owen scored against Wimbledon in May 1997 just 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute. When Michael Owen scored for Liverpool, he was 17 years and 144 days old. Andy Turner is the sixth youngest player to score in the Premier League. Andy Turner scored his first goal for Tottenham at the age of 17 years and 166 days. Turner helped Spurs in defeating Everton in September 1992, when the Premier League was still in its infancy. 

Former English left-back Michael Ball is seventh on the list. Ball began his professional career with Everton, where he made his debut at the age of 17 in 1997. He scored in Everton’s 1-1 draw against Leicester City in 1997. He was just 17 years 06 months 07 days when he scored the solitary goal for the Toffees. Ball is followed by former Manchester United player Federico Macheda. Macheda has probably scored the most important goal among the players on this list. He scored a 90th-minute winner against Aston Villa in 2009. He scored for Manchester United when he was 17 years and 226 days old.

The most recent inclusion, Daniel Jebbison scored just seven minutes into his first Premier League start for Sheffield United against Everton last month. With an age of 17 years and 309 days, the Canadian-born forward became the competition's youngest scorer for the 2020/21 season. The last name on our list is Raheem Sterling. He was 17 years and 317 days old when he scored for Liverpool against Reading in 2012.
