Sergio Ramos, who joined PSG from Real Madrid as a free agent follows Mbappe in the list. This involves paying a large sum in both signing fees and salary for a 35-year-old defender. Sergio Ramos has a weekly income of about €405,000. The fifth-highest paid Ligue 1 player is Marquinhos. PSG paid €31.40 million for the center-back when he was 19 years old. Since joining the club from AS Roma, Marquinhos has made over 300 appearances. With Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos both at PSG, Marquinhos' role to instill unity in such a star-studded group appears to be more vital than ever. In terms of pay, the Brazilian is well paid with an annual salary of €15 million, which equates to about €288,000 in weekly earnings.
