Chelsea faces Liverpool on 5th April 2023 in a big Premier League clash. This Premier League matchup is eagerly awaited because both teams are renowned for their aggressive styles of play and fierce spirits. This encounter is probably going to be just as thrilling as previous games between these two sides have been.

The English Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, and the UEFA Champions League are just a few of the competitions in which Chelsea and Liverpool have a long and illustrious heritage of competing against one another. Liverpool defeated Chelsea 1-0 in their FA Cup debut match against each other in 1915. In all events, the two teams have squared off more than 100 times.

In the 2005 Champions League semi-final between the two teams, one of the most unforgettable matches occurred. Liverpool advanced to the final with a 1-0 victory at Anfield after the teams drew 0-0 in the first game at Stamford Bridge. Luis Garcia's contentious strike gave Liverpool the advantage.

Following are the top 5 players who have donned the jerseys of both Chelsea and Liverpool in their careers:

The Spanish attacker was a member of Liverpool from 2007 to 2011, and in that year, he switched to Chelsea. Before joining AC Milan, he played for Chelsea for three and a half seasons.
