Manchester United had its worst season record this year, after firing Ole Gunnar Solskjær and signing Ralf Rangnick as the interim manager for the season. The struggling United has signed the Ajax manager Erik ten Hag for a 3-year deal.
Erik ten Hag said: “It is a great honor to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead. I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
Reports are saying that a massive £120million budget could be provided to the new manager to strengthen the squad. With the contracts of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani ending, the recruitment team has new targets in sight. Currently, United sits in 6th position in the table and is fighting for the top four places.
