This is something that I have wanted to write about for a long time and now that the World Cup is over and we will be back to club football so I thought that I should write about this as these 3 players are the 3 best in the world and they play for the same team which is Paris Saint Germain which is brilliant for all their fans and after the form of 2 of these 3 in the World Cup it can be said that PSG are one of the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League.
Before we talk about whether they are the best , I want to say that seeing Lionel Messi and Neymar amongst the best attacking trios of all time on 2 separate occasions tells us everything we need to know about these 2 great players. So, now let’s see and compare it with a few other famous attacking trios and see whether they are the best. We will have to consider the fact that these 3 have only been playing together for slightly more than a year. First let’s take a look at 2 more Deadly attacking trios .
Lionel Messi – Neymar – Luis Suarez
This was the best trio in the world for Barcelona when they played together and they were unstoppable as a unit. The other teams feared them and they would Score goals and even assist the others to score. Most importantly these 3 were the best of friends and that showed in their camaraderie and the understanding they had on the football pitch. They played together for 3 seasons from 2014-2017 and every year they scored more than 100 goals combined. In 2014-2015 they scored 122 goals and then in 2015-16 they scored 131 Goals and finally in 2016-17 they scored 110 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo – Gareth Bale – Karim Benzema
This was the best attacking trio for Real Madrid and these 3 were the perfect competition for the deadly Barcelona trio and the competition was fierce between these 2 rivals and everyone would compare the stats of each player in the trio and these 3 Real Madrid players were also very successful. So, we had 2 great attacking trios at the same time.

Lionel Messi – Kylian Mbappe – Neymar
These 3 have not played for as long as the other 2 so it will be unfair to compare them on the basis of goals and so we will compare them on the basis of their individual form and their talent. Lionel Messi and Neymar are in 2 of the 3 trios that we talked about so the only point of difference was between Luis Suarez and Kylian Mbappe and I have to say just on the basis of form, age and sheer talent Kylian Mbappe takes it and so these 3 hopefully will play for a few more years and so I have to say that Lionel Messi – Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the best attacking trio of all time.
