West Indies had a tough year in 2022. Now, desperate Caribbean players are ready to inspire the cricket team in 2023 with stronger performances.
West Indies are ready to start 2023 with a T20I series against the hosts Pakistan. Then, West Indies will play a Test series against the hosts Zimbabwe. Soon, the Caribbean will have an important complete tour in South Africa.
As West Indies are in danger of not directly qualifying for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at the end of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, they will again need to play ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier (in Zimbabwe) to qualify for the upcoming CWC 2023.
Before the CWC 2023, West Indies will also play an ODI series against the hosts Afghanistan.
If they qualify, the two-time World Cup winners West Indies will then participate in the prestigious ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
In December, England will tour West Indies for the complete white-ball series.
