Irish star Paul Stirling just missed out on becoming a fresh batter to smash six sixes in an over of a T20 match. The 31-year-old right-handed batter hit five consecutive sixes and one four in an over to get 34 runs in a T20 over. His smashing century helped his team to win a game in the ongoing English T20 Blast season.
Currently, Paul Stirling is serving for Birmingham Bears in the ongoing T20 Blast 2022. Last Thursday (26th May), they played against Northamptonshire at Birmingham, where Bear chose to bat first.
After the powerplay of the first innings, rain interrupted the game. Finally, that T20 game was shortened to a 16-over match for each side. Opener Stirling completed his fifty in 29 balls and then played more aggressively.
