Phoenix Suns who had an overall season of 64-18, have been getting tough competition from the pelicans. Even though the pelicans record is not as good as the suns, they have defeated a good number of top-tier teams on the road to playoffs.
Though the pelicans were worried about how they’ll manage the season ahead with Zion missing, It’s Ingram who has been making an impact on the Basketball court.
Ingram finished 13 of 21 shooting from the field. The Pelicans shot 17 of 30 (57%) from the 3-point range. Ingram had gained a lot of appreciation from the fans as well as the teammates. “Everything was flowing,” Ingram said. “Everybody was effective on the floor, all five. All five made something happen, whether it was offensively or defensively. We were really connected today.".
While the Pelicans were on the roll, Phoenix was missing Booker and was concerned about the injury he had while playing. He had scored 31 points before leaving the court in the third quarter.
There are still two games left, both teams winning two each and the Pelicans confident of going through to the next stage and the Suns worried about the injuries. This matchup has gained a lot of attention and has created a lot of hype.
