NBA 2021-22 Opening Day Schedule

It feels like yesterday, where Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won their 2nd Championship in their franchise history by thumping much favorite Phoenix Suns, and now here we are kick-starting another season in less than two months.

The NBA Free Agency and Trades are in full swing, with a plethora of NBA Stars have resigned with the same squads and there have been blockbuster trades that have been taking place daily.

Now, when does the NBA Season starts

Training Camp – September 28, 2021

NBA Regular season start date – October 19, 2021

NBA Regular season end date – April 10, 2022.

Play–In Tournament – April 12 – 15, 2022

NBA Playoffs – April 16 – June 19, 2022

NBA Draft 2022 – June 23, 2022

As the summer league wraps up, with Sacramento Kings dominantly winning the summer league, it's time to get down to business. The opening night of the season starts with a star-studded matchup.

Brooklyn Nets v/s Milwaukee Bucks

The defending champs face the team who they eliminated this year in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals in 7 games. It was a series worth exploring where Giannis and Kevin Durant went over each other to show their might. However, the Nets fell short in the Best of 7 series where two out of the three All-Stars – Kyrie Irving and James Harden were out or playing with injuries.

Will the revenge get on the back of the Nets squad or the defending champions cruise for a victory?

Golden State Warriors v/s Los Angeles Lakers

It’s the match that everyone waits for throughout the season and the fans can witness on the 1st day of the season itself. It will be a Housefull show for the fans in LA and Oakland.

Klay Thompson will make his much-awaited return on the basketball court after recovering from a torn ACL. This could be a much welcome moment for the Splash Bro's where he will share a court with the recently brought-in former GSW star Andre Igoudala.

A newly assembled LA Lakers squad with the incoming Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard, Kendrick Nunn, Malik Monk, Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza would be playing for the 1st time with each other. It is an overhaul for the former champions. After a disappointing 2020-21 season, the Lakers would like to kick things off on a positive note and would be keen on neutralizing the Splash Bros.

In all, 1st day of the NBA Regular season shall be one to be awake for.
