With Golden State Warriors bringing in their dominance back and the teams in the Eastern Conference have laid the foundation for an unpredictable Eastern Conference. 5. LaMelo Ball – Charlotte Hornets

Current Averages - Games – 21, Points Per Game – 19.4, Rebounds – 7.7, Assists – 7.8

The reigning Rookie of the Year, LaMelo Ball has been balling since the start of the season. He has been averaging much higher than his Rookie Year and has taken a giant leap in his Sophomore Year. The former No.1 pick in the 2020 Draft, LaMelo has a vision of a sniper and has been dashing. 20-year-old PG has been a walking double-double in most of his games and has formed a formidable partnership with a candidate for the Most Improved Player – Miles Bridges.

4. Tyler Herro – Miami Heat

Current Averages – Games – 18, Points Per Game – 21.8, Rebounds – 5.7, 3PT FG% - 39.8%

The Miami Heat has bagged huge on Herro. Miami Heat was chasing James Harden in the 2020 Season when Harden was looking to move away from Houston Rockets and demanded Tyler Herro in the trade mix. Heat declined the trade and, eventually, Harden moved to the Brooklyn Nets. Well, the move has paid off this season and Herro is making strides this season.

3. Miles Bridges – Charlotte Hornets

Current Averages – Games – 21, Points Per Game – 20.2, Rebounds – 7.5, Steals – 1.4

The House of Highlights machine, Miles Bridges has been a surprise this season. He declined a $60 million contract from the Hornets this offseason because he is expecting a $100 million extension and bet on his capabilities. Bridges averaged 12.7 points in the last season, is an early contender for the Most Improved Player for the season, and can be an important factor to lead Charlotte back to the Playoffs.

2. OG Anunoby – Toronto Raptors

Current Averages – Games – 15, Points Per Game – 20.1, Rebounds – 5.4, Steals – 1.5

A surprise inclusion in the Top 5. OG has been on a constant rise since in G-League days. With most of the squad getting injured and getting traded, OG has stepped up in the rotation. Pascal Siakam has been on his route to recovery and playing limited minutes, he has been an elite defender throughout his career and as the season progresses, we shall see how the season pans out for OG.

1. Montrezl Harrell – Washington Wizards

Current Averages – Games – 19, Points Per Game – 16.9, Rebounds – 8.8, FG% - 64.9%

Harrell is on revenge mode this season. After getting traded to the LA Lakers from the LA Clippers in the last season, coach Vogel did not know how to play the former 6th Man of the Year and it was one of the most disappointing seasons for him. He was traded to the Washington Wizards along - with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma as a part of the Russell Westbrook trade. This has been one of the biggest positives for the Wizards. Currently, Harrell is back in his 6th Man of the Year role and was in the Top 10 in the early MVP ladder.

Washington Wizards are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference standings and look to be an early seeded squad for the Playoffs in the upcoming season.
