ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 is set to run in Zimbabwe from 18 June to 9 July 2023. Ireland and nine other teams are ready to fight in this competition to secure the last two spots for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
How to qualify for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023?
In the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023, Ireland are in Group B. The other four teams in this Group B are Sri Lanka, Scotland, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. In the Group Stage, the Men in Green will play one game against all the other teams in Group B.
At the end of the Group Stage, the top three teams of each of the two groups will qualify for the Super Six stage of this tournament.
In the Super Six, each team will play one match only against each of the three teams from the other group. At the end of the Super Six, the top two teams will compete in the Final of the tournament where the winners will win the trophy.
Both the finalists in the Qualifiers 2023 will qualify for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

India will host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 between October and November 2023. A total of ten teams, including the two finalists of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023, will participate in this 13th edition of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup competition.
Ireland have experienced three consecutive ICC Men’s Cricket World Cups, starting from 2007. While they failed to qualify for the World Cup 2019 edition, they are desperate to end their wait for the next World Cup appearance.
