It is that time of the tournament where we see who makes it to the team of the tournament and for this FIFA World Cup there have been a number of great performances from a lot of players in different positions and it will be tough to choose and I will try to choose the best 11 from this World Cup.
There are a few players who will be in everyone’s team in the tournament and they are the standout players and there are some that might vary from person to person but that is the beauty of this that we can have different opinions and still have a great team. So, let’s see my FIFA World Cup Team for the tournament.
Goalkeeper
Emi Martinez- Argentina
There have been 2-3 goalkeepers who have done extremely well in this World Cup but I have chosen the goalkeeper from Argentina because he has been an important reason that Argentina are the World Champions as he made some unbelievable saves and was the man who bosses the penalty shootouts.
Defenders
Achraf Hakimi – Morocco
There is no doubt that this great player is a part of the team of the tournament. Hakimi has been I e of the main reasons that Morocco made it fo their historic semi final of the World Cup and he is their talisman.
Raphael Varane – France
There should be no doubt that Raphael Varane will be in the team of the tournament and he has been a standout player for France and his timely defending has resulted in France making it to back to back World Cup finals. A great of the game
Josko Gwardiol – Croatia
One of the best defenders in the World Cup and even though in the semi final Lionel Messi made him look like he was nothing it cannot take away the fact that this young defender is one of the best in the world and the future is his for the taking.
Theo Hernandez – France
The last defender in my team is Theo Hernandez from France, not only was he one of the best defenders of the World Cup but he has also scored so many important goals for France in this World Cup and he has been the backbone for France.
Midfielders
Sofyan Amrabat – Morocco
For me he has been in the Top 2 midfielders In this World Cup so he automatically makes it to the team of the tournament and he has been the best player for Morocco in this World Cup and one of the major reasons why they created history and the future is bright for this man.
Luka Modric – Croatia
There is nothing left to be said about this genius of a player because once again he led the Croatia team to the semi final of the World Cup when very few gave them a chance. Luka Modric has been the best midfielder of this World Cup and he has ended his career with Croatia on the highest note.

Antoine Griezmann – France
The third best midfielder of this World news Antoine Griezmann from France and he was a true chance maker as he creates chances out of nowhere and he is the heart of the France team and without him then would be lost.

He has scored 7 goals and had 4 assists meaning out of the 12 Argentina goals in the World Cup he has had a direct hand in 9 and he is the main reason Argentina are the World Champions.

Kylian Mbappe is also a starter in all the teams of the tournament as he gas scored 8 top class goals and has also assisted a few as well and he is a true forward of the World Cup and he is just 23 years old which means that he will be the best in the world for a decade plus and he has a World Cup winners and a runners up medal.

Julian Alvarez – Argentina
The last player in my team of the tournament is Julian Alvarez of Argentina and it was a very close call between him and Olivier Giroud of France but I think he has been more important for Argentina and the quality of his goals were better and he is the future of football. The 4 Goals that he scored for Argentina were so important in their World Cup Win.
